– CDW (Colisions Damage Waiver) covers damages that cost above the deductible amount. You should take into account that the deductible amount is defined on the lease contract and the company may increase this amount with regard to the age of the driver or if it necessary for any other reason.
– Full Cover Insurance applies only to the external body of the vehicle. It covers doors, fenders, bumpers, the hood, headlights, taillights, windshield and windows. For ATVs, buggies, scooters and motorcycles, it applies to fairings, fenders, plastic parts and storage boxes.
The coverage does not include damages related to the engine, the steering system, the suspension, or any part directly connected with the mechanical operation of the vehicle. It also excludes the roof and roof support pillars, as well as any damages caused by a vehicle rollover. In case of rollover, roof damages and all related damages are not covered. The same applies to buggies.
Full Cover does not cover loss or damage of vehicle keys, damages to the underside of the vehicle such as wheels, the oil pan or suspension parts, or damages caused when driving off-road, on the beach, or on unsuitable terrain. Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances also makes the coverage invalid.
The customer must always report any damage or accident to the company immediately, explaining the conditions under which it happened. If not reported, the coverage will not be recognized.
In case of accident or damage, the company covers roadside assistance such as towing, except when the incident happens off-road, on the beach, or due to prohibited use.
If an accident occurs, the company may terminate the Full Cover Insurance for the rest of the rental. If a customer with a Collision Damage Waiver is responsible for an accident, the company may increase the deductible for the remaining rental period. If the rental terms are violated, both CDW and Full Cover become void and the customer is fully responsible for all damages.
For damages above €1,000, the company reserves the right to investigate through its legal department whether the customer was under the influence, using a mobile phone while driving, speeding, or committing any offense considered a criminal act under Greek law. If such violations are confirmed, the coverage is canceled and the customer is fully liable.
